Whitening methods only work on teeth that are real. Unfortunately, teeth whitening of surfaces that are not natural is very rarely successful. Veneers and implants are examples of surfaces that cannot get whiter by standard procedures. Any dental work you have had done will remain the same color, while your natural teeth will lighten.

If you are unable to brush your teeth after consuming a sugary product, eat something firm, such as an apple, to help scrape the sugar buildup from your teeth. The apple does contain natural sugar, so you should still brush as soon as you can.
