Morning comes apace. Unfortunately. The alarm has gone off, the day’s rigors are stretched long and wide ahead of you, and you just know that the floor is particularly cold this morning. Down the hall, your babe slumbers heavily in his bed, undisturbed, wrapped still in the bliss of his dreams.
So is google classroom nsw right for you? First and foremost what are your goals and plans? You need to answer that first. Once you know what your specific goals are, you need to find an online college with a program that can help you meet those goals. Make sure you talk to friends and family and see if anyone you know has gone to school online. Referrals are always important. You will also want to attend an accredited institution and know that your units earned are transferable.
For example, classroom assistants are frequently seen almost doing a child’s writing for them! They excuse this by explaining, ‘He doesn’t like writing’. Too true he doesn’t like writing, but he still has to be expected to do it and he’s certainly not going to write if he can con somebody else into doing it for him! The problem is that once you’ve allowed this situation to become established it becomes more difficult to change. It can be done, but you’re better not allowing it to become a pattern of behaviour from the start.
Unless there is something that you just can not live with at the school that you are out, ride out the storm, stick it out. I have found that the issues I have had with the people in certain schools would have worked themselves out if I had just waited, most of those people are gone now, off to new schools or new careers.
Now, please, anyone who is reading this article. I am not complaining or looking for a pity party. I am just sharing my experiences with other young teachers starting out in the profession. Its not easy, its a long hard road but please for your sake, your students sake and your mental and emotional sake, STICK WITH IT!
